Nickelodeon USA Wins First Week Of March 2014 With Kids And Total Viewers; Lands Top Four Animated Kids’ Shows For The Week; Leads Preschool With "Wallykazam!"

Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids and families, has announced in the following press release, from TVByTheNumbers.com, the exciting Nickelodeon News that Nick USA closed the first week of March 2014 (Monday 24th February to Sunday 2nd March 2014) as the number-one basic cable network with Kids 2-11 (2.9/915K) and total viewers (1.7M), scoring the top kids' shows in animation and preschool.


Nickelodeon USA landed the top four animated series with Kids 2-11 for the week with Nickelodeon's hit original animated series (Nicktoons), lead by "SpongeBob SquarePants" (5.1/1.6M), followed by "Sanjay and Craig" (5.0/1.6M), "Breadwinners" (4.5/1.4M) and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (4.2/1.3M). In addition, "SpongeBob SquarePants" and "Sanjay and Craig" ranked as the overall top two programs with Kids 2-11 for the week. "SpongeBob SquarePants" was also the week's number-one kids' program with total viewers (3.4M).

Nickelodeon's latest preschool offering, "Wallykazam!", is already a hit, topping all preschool series this week with a 7.9/977K with Kids 2-5 — up +55% over 2013.

NEW YORK – March 4, 2014 – Nickelodeon closed the first week of March (2/24/14-3/2/14) as the number-one basic cable net with Kids 2-11 (2.9/915K) and total viewers (1.7M), scoring the top kids’ shows in animation and preschool.

The network landed the top four animated series with Kids 2-11 for the week, with SpongeBob SquarePants (5.1/1.6M) leading off, followed by Sanjay and Craig (5.0/1.6M), Breadwinners (4.5/1.4M) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (4.2/1.3M). In addition, SpongeBob SquarePants and Sanjay and Craig ranked as the overall top two programs with Kids 2-11 for the week. SpongeBob SquarePants was also the week’s number-one kids’ program with total viewers (3.4M).
