Viacom Renews Comprehensive Carriage Agreement with Cox Communications

Viacom (NASDAQ:VIAB)(NASDAQ:VIA), the parent company of the Nickelodeon brand, today announced the renewal and expansion of its distribution agreement with Cox Communications for carriage of Viacom's media networks across Cox's subscriber base.


In addition to carriage of 22 popular Viacom cable networks and EPIX, Cox subscribers will have access to an expanded selection of on-demand, full-length programming across all platforms, including television and mobile devices.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
